Route 1: Wenham Loop

22km/13.8 mile loop that can be extended as much as necessary via Raydon Airfield to make as long a ride as you like! 144m/475ft elevation.

Route 2: Gayford Flyer proposed 2021 'Hurricane' Route

38km/24 miles. A fairly gentle route - though it does have a couple of sharp little hills - around some lovely local countryside. Take care when crossing the A1071, both at Hadleigh and at Boxford.

Route 3: Assington Via Bures

43.7km/27 miles, 319m/1052ft climbing

Route 4: Gayford Flyer 2018 'Lancaster' Route

47km/29.2 miles with 268m (885ft) of climbing on an 'out and back' route from Hadleigh.

Route 5: Café Como ride.

49km/30 miles, 359m/1185ft to one of the nicest coffee and cake stops in the area.

Route 6: Alder Carr

55km/34.3 miles, 382m/1260ft climbing.

Route 7: Pin Mill

55km/34.3 miles with 400m/1320ft of ascent. A circular route to the wonderful Butt and Oyster pub.

Route 8: Gayford Flyer proposed 2021 'Lancaster' Route

60km/37.2 miles. Getting a bit more ambitious, with 386m (1270ft) of climbing.

Route 9: Maglia Rosso

63.6km/39.5 miles and 475m/1568ft of climbing to a great local bike shop and cafe - with its own cyclocross course!

Route 10: Woodbridge

73km/45.3 miles, 545m/1800ft climbing

Route 11: Harwich

77.3km/48 miles and 409m/1350ft of climbing to the coast.

Route 11: Gayford Flyer 2019 'Spitfire' Route

90.7km/56.4 miles. The signature route of HCC's annual Sportive over the last few years. 621m (2050ft) of climbing over a fascinating route of local roads.

Route 12: Clare via Bures

91.1km/56.6 miles, 812m (2680ft) climbing. This is a 60 mile return trip to Clare via Bures and Sudbury, including the lovely Stour valley through Lamarsh and Henny. Several cafes in Clare - need a bike lock as nowhere safe for bikes.

Route 13: Gayford Flyer proposed 2021 'Spitfire' Routes

100.3km/62.3 miles. A good day's ride out, with 2140ft of climbing, taking in several local airfields, both current and disused, in connection with Oswald Gayford, a local aviation pioneer.
